Description

"Sanderson's Franklin House" engraving Advertisement for hotel. Shows Chestnut St., Philadelphia, store front, horses and carriages, pedestrians. Drawn and engraved by John Ruben Smith. Wood frame. 8-29-85 - Dr. Doris Fanelli, curator of INHP, recommended that the engraving be re-framed. She said that any marks from the litho stone which appear around the edge of the engraving will increase its value. She recommended asking Ken Finkel at the Library Co. about it.
