Heavy, long rectangular silver plate which is engraved with a blank Carpenters' Company check.

The check is engraved with the following: -The dates of the institution (1724) and incorporation (1790) of the C. Co. -The name and address of the C. Co. -"To The Tradesmen National Bank and Trust Company." -There are spaces left for the date, the party to be paid, the amount to be paid and the signature of the treasurer. -This check area is lightly outlined, and next to it is the number of the check, the date, and four blank lines. -There are scratches and discolored indentations on the back of the plate.
