On front of plate is the symbol of the Carpenters' Co. flanked by two cherubs sitting on gold decorative forms and holding a ruler and two small boards and the date, June 2, 1953. On the back of the plate is this inscription in gold letters: "This plate was made to the order of The Carpenters' Company by THE WORCESTER ROYAL PORCELAIN COMPANY LIMITED and presented to each Liveryman of THE CARPENTERS' COMPANY to commemorate the coronation of H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II." This is surrounded by a gold circle. See also ccccp166
