William Boyer was a master builder elected to The Carpenters' Company in 1770. He was an "encourager" to the Philadelphia edition of Abraham Swan's The British Architect (Philadelphia: R. Ball for J. Norman, 1775). Boyer was listed in the Mulberry Ward in 1769 and 1774.
