McDowell, William

Description

William McDowell was a master builder elected to The Carpenters' Company in 1782, but inactive until marked off The Company roles in 1790. It is possible that he was the same William McDowell who served as a lieutenant in the 1st and 2nd Pennsylvanian regiments during the American Revolution.
