George Linck was a master builder elected to the Carpenters' Company in 1816. Linck resided at 12 Castle street. He served the Company as Warden from 1822-24 and Treasurer from 1843-57. He also served three terms on the Managing Committee. George Linck died in 1861.

Minutes-1856-9 Theodore Colladay offered resolution which was unanimously adopted: that the thanks of this Company be and they are hereby presented to George Linck, Esq., for the careful management of the finances and the faithful performance of all the duties of said office of which he has been the incumbent for 15 years. ------------------- City Records D.S.B. book #335; filed August 13, 1812 George Link (sp?) and Christopher Broom trading under the firm of Linck and Broom. DSB judgement confessed for $238 by bond and warrant of attorney dated June 1812 and conditioned for the payment $119 on the 23rd day of December 1812 together with lawful interest for the same. ------------------ City Records D.S.B. book #337; filed May 29, 1816; satisfied January 20, 1818 George Linck vs. Nathaniel Gilhorn. Claim for $800 against a three story brick messuage or house situate on the south side of Library street the third door west of Delaware Fourth street in the city of Philadelphia for carpenters work and materials done and furnished in the constructing of the said messuage or house. ----------------- City Records D.S.B. book #345; filed August 25, 1832; no satisfaction noted George Linck vs. Nathaniel S. Wilburn.
