Description
Jacob Thomas was a master builder of Philadelphia elected to the Carpenters' Company in 1834. He served as a Company Warden from 1842 to 1844 and served two terms on the Managing Committee, first from 1845 to 1847 and again from 1849 to 1851. According to the contemporary city directories, he resided at the southeast corner of Cedar and 11th street. He died in 1855.
