Jacob Bartholomew was a master builder elected to the Carpenters' Company of Philadelphia 1839. In the 1840 City Directory, Bartholomew was listed as a carpenter at 4th above German street with his residence at 43 Union street. Bartholomew was listed deceased on the Company roll in 1865.
