Glass door with gold design and word "REGULATOR" in front of copper-colored pendulum. On window is gold (leaf?) image of ships on an ocean, some decorative leaf-like imagery. Inside clock is a sticker: "From C.R. Smith & Sons S.E. Corner of 18th and Market Sts." (Phila.); directions on hanging the clock (in file) and a sheet of paper: "From C.R. SMITH & SONS, S.E. Cor. Market and 18th Sts. Clock department. sold Carpenters' [remainder is illegible]...Repaired Aug. 1887, sent to 9th [4th?] and Chestnut. "
