Description
James Cooper was elected to the Carpenters’ Company in 1803 after being proposed by Robert Morrell. In 1805, he resided in Pearsons Court. The Directory for 1810 locates Cooper at 192 St. John st. and in 1814 at 147 St. John st. He died in 1816. His relation to the other Coopers of the Carpenters' Company is unknown.
