Jacob S. Price was a master builder of Philadelphia elected to the Carpenters' Company of Philadelphia in 1844. Price was elected as a Company Warden in 1878 and served a two year term. He also served on the Managing Committee from 1881-83. In the 1854 City Directory, Price's home was listed at 98 South 12th street and his shop at 11th street above Shippen street. Price was marked deceased in 1884.
